The challenge
In the telecom sector, one brand sets itself apart — Mobile Vikings. With its unique offering, razor-sharp prices, and drive to constantly innovate, they continue to challenge the status quo. With the launch of their new Fiber product, Mobile Vikings was ready to make an everlasting impression. To help them create such an impact, they turned to nocomputer for a creative digital solution that would not only highlight their new offering but resonated with their tech-savvy audience. Ready, set, fiber!
So, how do you promote an ultra-fast fiber internet service — speeds of 5GBPS for downloads and 1 GBPS for uploads — designed for true Internet lovers? Together with creative agency At The Table, we brainstormed about a campaign that would be accessible, edgy, and digital-first — aligning with Mobile Vikings’ brand values. The result was an innovative idea: a mini-game centered around the theme of speed, mirroring the ultra-fast capabilities of their new fiber product.
The game is designed to be a journey through increasing levels of internet speed, ending in the ultimate ‘fiber speed’ challenge. With six levels, each escalating in difficulty and pace, players can prove they’re as fast as Mobile Vikings’ Internet speed. The game’s interface is full of memes, adding a playful touch and ensuring a connection with the target audience. True to the campaign’s digital-first strategy, we built the game to be accessible across both desktop and smartphone.
And, of course, what kind of game would this be without a prize? Everyone who can reach the finish stands a chance to win a prize once a week — a year of free fiber Internet. This approach aligned perfectly with Mobile Vikings’ goals: to create widespread awareness and achieve a high participation rate.
This campaign proves that the blend of creativity and technology makes for unique digital experience that resonate with the right target audience. This is not just a game, it’s a statement: Mobile Vikings is edgy, engaging, and digital-first. A forward-thinking telecom provider.
